Titan Snakes are a form of automaton, so advanced that they have learned to think on their own and dominate the wilderness of Dezran and Rgatikie.

Physiology[]

Titan Snakes have a rugged, aluminium plated underside mounted with spikes, and a combed back. It's "head" consists of several spikes clawing out around its "eye".

Titan Snakes are usually around 20 to 40 meters long in size. They can see the world around them through a special "eye" on its "head" that converts infrared light into an image that is compatible with the artificial brain processor of the snake.

History[]

Sandwormraid

Titan Snakes attacking Bedias.

In the early year of 1024, a small band of Dwarves traveled down to the sands of Dezran, in hope of new discoveries. They carried with them two of their greatest war machines built so far: the Titan Snakes. These were capable of grouping together, routing perfect strategies for combat, and taking down villages in minutes.

However, the Titan Snakes were modified with the ability to evolve quickly by the Dwarves once the theory arose. Because of this, they over-threw their Dwarvish creators and while one fled into the wild, where it adapted to the Dezran life, while the other went in the other direction towards Rgatikie, its buliding location. They were capable of reproducing asexually (see Reproduction). Since then, they have wandered Dezran in groups, looking for things to annihilate, while the Titan Snake in Rgatikie were recovered and have protective measures to stop them from running wild. It is used for study in a large enclosed area.

Reproduction[]

Titan Snakes, being machine, cannot truly reproduce sexually. They are, however, capable of severing off a length of their body, which grows a head and a brain. This is a new Titan Snake, in whole.
