Veptimese is the language spoken by the Veptims and Dracanthros of Raxus. It originated in east Raxus and quickly spread to the west around 200 according to scholars. It is a tricky to learn this tongue as most words are similar and most words start with the vowels A, O, U, though plenty differ. There is no 'I' or 'Y' sound in the alphabet.

Sentence Structure[edit | edit source]

Here are some useful facts about the sentence structure of Veptimese.

  • Sentences are composed starting with a tense, either Adardor, Adardo, Adard or Adar.
  • The tense is followed by a verb/question, then an object, animal, person, etc.
  • This is followed by Time and Place in that order, but they are optional.
  • There is no Veptimese word for "is" or any variation of it by its, but "is the" is "Urka".
  • The vowel A must be put at the start of the latter word if two constants are next to each other between words. This is always excluding a prefix. This does not apply between sentences.
